Goa Lawah Temple is a temple located in Pasinggahan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali, Goa Lawah Temple is known to the public because of a cave in the main part of this temple, in which there is a group of bats. The word Goa means Goa / Cave (hole) and Lawah in Bali means bat, so Goa Lawah means a cave inhabited by bats. This temple stands in the meeting area between the beach and the hills with a cave inhabited by thousands of bats. Lontar Padma Bhuwana said that Goa Lawah Temple is one of the heavens of the universe/sad heaven as the shrine of Dewa Maheswara and Sanghyang Basukih, with a function as the center of the mountain country.
